Herb Paynter, Jr. founded Colony in 1995 with a vision: To provide quality craftsmanship at competitive prices. Herb is seasoned with twenty years of experience in construction. You can see some of his craftsmanship throughout Ford's Colony, Kingsmill, and Governors Landing. Herb values education and keeps up with manufacturer certifications as well as staying informed about new products on the market ensuring Colony uses quality materials for construction projects.
Tina Paynter graduated from Christopher Newport University in Virginia with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Financial Management. Her education has had a tremendous impact on the business' growth. Tina has a firm belief that customer service is the key driver to our success.
